We independently verify information so customers can choose with greater confidence, and so reputable trade businesses can demonstrate their credibility. This page sets out who we are, what we are not, and where membership stops.

    Verification is earned through checks on real paperwork and trusted sources, and can never be purchased.

    Every published check is confirmed against information we have assessed ourselves.

  • Progressive by design

    Businesses start with the paperwork they have. Records grow as more is verified, and that progress is shown openly.

  • Transparent

    We show what has not been verified as clearly as what has. Your judgement is never replaced.

Verification is not membership

Membership pays for the work of verifying and monitoring a business. It buys the process, never the outcome. No payment changes a verification decision, adds a tick to a record, or moves a business up the search results. If a document lapses, the record says so regardless of what has been paid.

Verification is not recommendation

Verification confirms information. It does not say a business is better than another, and it is never an endorsement of workmanship. We explain what has been verified, what is monitored, when it was confirmed and where verification is not yet complete. The decision remains entirely yours.
